  12. Just my luck... I finally decide to switch full time from EGS to CyberGraphX,
  13. purchase the commercial version, install it, things are great.... ALAS! I 
  14. started experiencing random freeze ups!   I attribute these to CG, because 
  15. this definately was NOT happening under EGS.  My setup is as follows:
  16. A3000 68040 12F2C Rev. 11 Buster, GVP Spectrum, CyberGraphX 2.16, OS3.1. I 
  17. noticed that the lock ups are much more frequent if I let the card's blitter do 
  18. p2c conversion. Setting the environmental variable cybergraphics/CPUP2C reduced 
  19. the problem SIGNIFICANTLY, but it still happends quite a bit.   I suspect that 
  20. this is a problem with the latest release of CGFX, since before this started 
  21. happening, I was using the previous unregistered versions of CG for running my
  22. EMPLANT, and it never happened.   The symptoms are the system simply freezes
  23. up.  No GURU, no software failure.  Does anyone else experience this?  I really
  24. like the CG software otherwise, but  this is very annoying (especially when
  25. I'm connected to the net).
